Bucharest is the capital city, industrial and financial centre of Romania. It is the largest city in Romania, located in the southeast of the country, and lies on the banks of the Dâmboviţa River. Bucharest was first mentioned in documents as early as 1459. Since then it has gone through a variety of changes, becoming the state capital of Romania in 1862 and steadily consolidating its position as the centre of the Romanian mass media, culture and arts. Its eclectic architecture is a mix of historical (neo-classical), interbellum (Bauhaus and Art Deco), Communist-era and modern. (music Deadmau5 - Faxing Berlin & Electronic Arts - Calista)

Bucharest city , Romania's capital at night timelapse/hyperlapse You can support my work by donating on my patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/andreisolomon Thank you! https://www.facebook.com/solomonandrei/videos/10211625877941609/ https://www.instagram.com/solomon_media/ The production of this video began on September 19, 2014 and the last scene was shot on August 30, 2017. I wanted to capture the shades of dark, especially between autumn and winter, when days are shorter, giving enough time to create the hyperlapses. About 12,000 photos and 2 videos were used. As the city constantly changes, I plan on updating it every 4-5 years. Productia acestui video a inceput pe 19 septembrie 2014 si ultima scena a fost trasa pe 30 august 2017. S-a lucrat in perioada toamna-iarna ca sa prind ...
Pictures and music by Federico Borluzzi © This is a slideshow showing some pictures that I shot in a trip to Romania in 2006. I visited some places in the region of Transylvania, except for a couple of days spent in the capital, Bucharest, at the end of the trip. The towns that I visited are: Brașov, Poiana Brașov, Prejmer, Hărman, Homorod, Rupea, Viscri, Bunești, Sighișoara, Biertan, Valea Viilor, Sibiu, Rășnov, Bran Castle, Sinaia and Peleș castle, Bucharest. I didn’t take many pictures (nowadays I use to take many, many more), because I didn’t have any camera with me and I could only use my mobile phone, which didn’t allow me to take many pictures because of its limited memory (just a 32 MB memory card, which sounds quite ridiculous today, but it was quite normal at that time). The ...

It started out like any other rock concert in the Romanian capital on Friday night. These photos capture the moments before the tragedy. Panic took hold when a fire broke out – indoor pyrotechnics apparently were to blame. Hundreds rushed for the exit. Outside –these were the scenes as rescue crews rushed to help – a ‘code red’ emergency procedure was declared. (http://brianai.com) Every year I made some pictures of the marvelous city of Bucharest, Romania This year I used Artificial Intelligence to label and group them and my AI virtual assistant created an album, see bellow How I organized 200.000 of my photos using Artificial Intelligence (from 20 local external HDD with images, working only on my laptop and one empty external HDD) ? - Navigate, - Intelligent Upload (keep track of each photo id and URL for future apps), - Share, - Sell, - Create movies, - Include in apps - Find faces, - Detect landmarks, labels (AI generated movie - these pictures were labeled and found using Artificial Intelligence - see link http://videnda.us/2016/09/07/artificial-intelligence/) Download the app from here http://www.exquisiteview.com/Brian-AI-Image-Mana...

Hanne Ørstavik was in Romania between 18 and 20 of March 2014. On the 19th of March she participated at the debate we organized at the National Museum of Contemporary Art. Called "Woman 2.1 -- Urban Style", the debate was about the urban woman of 2014, about her options, her challenges and the choices one has to make, focusing on Love, Hanne's novel translated and published at Univers Publishing House. The event was hosted and moderated by Virginia Costeschi, President of BookMag Cultural Association, and in the Cafeteria of MNAC, next to them there were H.E. Mrs Tove Bruvik Westberg, Ambassador of Norway to Romania, Daniela Kammrath, Editor-in-chief www.121.ro, Andreea Roșca, Founding member of Romanian Business Leaders Foundation, Chris Simion, writer and artistic director.
